Watchman on the Wall Experience: Lonely & Misunderstood, but worth It!

Many members of the body of Christ, in my opinion, almost seem to envy ‘watchmen’ or believe that the job comes with applause and encouragement from others. In my experience, it is the opposite.

A watchman is given insight from the Spirit of God, NOT man. The Spirit tasks the watchman with alerting the body of Christ to things that are going on in the world system that are not normally spoken of in church pulpits or are tasked with identifying wolves and confronting those wolves and exposing them.

Ephesians 5:11 is not an easy assignment. When the Lord compels someone to fulfill this task, it will often be a LONELY existence. Say ‘yes, Lord, send me’, however, count the cost. The Lord may show you deep and hidden things in this prophesied New World Order that leave you in awe. When He pulls back the veil and teaches you the inner workings of the Jesuits, Freemasonry, the Vatican, the alien/UFO agenda and how all of these things combined are culminating to fulfill the last days NWO, He will command you to make it known. But, when you do, will you be heard? Will you be accepted? Will you be tolerated?

The Lord sent Moses and Aaron to speak to Pharaoh, He sent Elijah, Isaiah, Jeremiah (the weeping prophet) and so many more and they were ignored, shunned, called crazy, imprisoned or killed. Jeremiah was tempted not to speak anymore due to this persecution, however, he knew if he remained silent, God’s word would burn in him like a fire!

The Lord asks, “Who will go for Us?” You may feel led to answer His call with passion, but be aware of this FACT: 99% of the time, even in the body of Christ, you will be politely tolerated, ignored or cast off as a conspiracy theorist. However, it is the Lord Christ you are serving. You are successful simply because you are speaking what He has revealed to you, not whether people truly understand or accept you! What He whispers in your ear, proclaim from the rooftop, but be prepared to have Jesus ALONE for your love and support. He is all you need anyway.

Standing alone with Jesus brings the sweetest intimacy between you and He, regardless of the lack of understanding or acceptance of ‘man’. Fellowship with Jesus in His suffering, and find the closest relationship possible with Him! He was despised and rejected of men.

So, as you can see, accepting God’s call to blow the trumpet and expose evil is often a lonely road, but eternally worth it and the intimacy that will develop between you and Jesus is all that matters! (Ephesians 5:11) keep exposing!

  1. Needed to read this today. In an interesting situation right now where I’m waiting for the Lord’s wisdom and timing in when/how/what exactly to speak regarding some very concerning things I’m seeing in church community. Have spoken some, but have a feeling there will be more to say. I’m certainly not skilled with words (in fact, often very, very clumsy) when it comes to face-to-face interactions. I know however God works – through me or someone else – will be to His glory and not mine, and my weakness is necessary so that His work in this place will be clearly His alone. It was really good to be reminded of the sweet fellowship we can have with Jesus even though the whole world – or even the church – stand in opposition. Thank you sister for the emboldening words.
